Inspired by the season's blooms, this wedding is a mix of pretty pastels and romantic wedding details.

  1. Gold Foil Wedding Invitations

Your wedding invitations are the first glimpse guests have into your wedding style. Engraved invitations with gold foil accents and laser cut detailing set the tone for a romantic and delicate affair. "This soft, romantic theme carried strong into all details of this shoot, such as the tulle veils from Preston & Olivia and the intricate stationery," said Krista Li of Two of a Kind Event Rentals.

  2. Refined Chalkboard Details

Welcome guests to your ceremony or reception with a personalized sign. It can be used to display any general information, such as a wedding hashtag, or it can stand in for a traditional wedding program. Custom calligraphy elevates the look of this rustic design element.

  3. In Motion GIFs

The newest trend in wedding photography captures more than just one frame at a time. Photographer Cynthia Chung used fans to give the flower crown and dress a hint of movement, breathing life into an otherwise still shot. The result: a cool animated GIF. "I love working with people, learning their stories, and helping them capture a moment that they can continue to relive for the rest of their lives," says Chung.

  4. A Striking Venue

Work with the style of your venue—not against it. Highlight design features that are unique to the space, like exposed brick walls or unique architecture. "The Green Building's high ceilings added an industrial edge to our romantic wedding setup," says Li.

  5. Flowering Chuppah

Ceremony traditions, like the use of a chuppah, can easily be designed to reflect your style as a couple. "Succulents, natural vines, buckets of greenery and ombre petals, [Matthew David Celebrations] lit-up our ceremony backdrop and brought it to life," said Li.

  6. A Blushing Bridal Bouquet

When choosing a color scheme for your wedding, think about the colors that occur in your favorite flowers. Blush pink and pastel green come together flawlessly in the rose, bridal veil potea, scabiosa pod, and eucalyptus bouquet. A variety of blooms and greenery give this arrangement a playful, effortless look. The same flowers were also used in the bride's flower crown and on the ceremony chuppah.

  7. Mismatched Boutonnieres

The boutonnieres don't have to match. If the bridal bouquet features several different blossoms, play around with the gents bouts. As long as the colors are in the same family, differnt florals makes for a more interestingly dressed lapel.

  8. A Classic Cake Design

Classic wedding cakes are anything but boring. A subtle ombre effect is created with a blush-tinted center tier. Pink and gold sugar flowers add interest to the other layers, while gold banding adds elegance. White accent dots keep the cake's design playful and fresh.
